Note to Self
Audio is ever present in our lives. Sound waves constantly vibrate through the air around us, but their physical form goes undetected to our eyes. Photography as a visual medium typically only shows what's detectable to the eye. But in this case, we use photography to visualize the invisible —sound waves.
Note to Self was a pro bono partnership with a small team at Adobe and The Museum of Photographic Arts in San Diego. By manipulating audio and visuals in concert, we created a photo booth containing a layer of information that would be invisible without the aid of a camera.
